This 4-story townhome was a ground up project. It started with a concrete floor and unfinished drywall shell. We incorporated a central kitchen to divide up the main living space with Dining on one end, with access to the back river view deck, and Living at the front facing South for optimal light. The kitchen has a dropped ceiling to run services through but also divide the spaces visually. We incorporated white oak hardwoods throughout for flow through all four levels. A mix of wood and charcoal millwork for a warm yet edgy vibe. Lots of storage cabinetry was added that seems to disappear into the background and look more like furniture. And a window seat to act as extra seating for the Living Room when larger groups are gathering, or to sit and watch the birds on a quieter day.
